So what's the story?

Storyteller

Meet, Roslyn

My love affair with the art of storytelling began when I'd just barely learned to walk.  My mother, after putting my infant brother to bed, would come and tuck me under the covers.  As she lay beside me on top of the covers, the words from my favorite Disney classics would float effortlessly from her lips.  Soon, I wanted more variety, so my mother began making up her own stories.  One of which was horror that still scares the daylights out of me to this day.

As I got older, my grandmother introduced me to the historical romances that I became hooked on for years to come.  For me, in regards to romance novels, I focused more on the words used by the lovers to convey their feelings.  I fell in love with how certain words could be strung together to convey deep feelings of love and even hate.  It sounds a little corny, but words became my passion.

Not only did I discover my love of words through historical romances but my love of history as well.  My corporate career path was leading me away from the things in life that I actually enjoyed.  So when given the opportunity, I went back to school and obtained my BA in History.

With this background, writing comes naturally to me as well as excellent research skills.  I love engaging with the projects I work on, diving headfirst into the research, investigation, and production of stories I feel are worth writing about -  the story that YOU are passionate about!
